hi, the radar detectors dont work well because the cops have radar guns. When they turn on the signal you are beside of the cop the radar detector ring and you have not the time to brake. If the cop see you have a radar detector you will be obligated to pay a lot of money and finally the radar detector always ring for anything. forgot that: its a big trouble Joffrey |

| you should try to intergrate radar detector warnings into, maybe flashing screens and if possible, a radar blip on the screen showing signal stregth, so you know how far they may be, I have an Escort Passport X50, it is great, that would be cool to have onscreen |

| I was wondering if this project is still actively being worked on. I dont believe we have heard anything from the developers. I know there are a bunch of people who would like to help out with the project. So any form of update would be great. |

| Widgets (in Tiger) can interrogate and control iTunes. Have you looked at possibly using the Widget / Dashboard system as the basis for the UI? |

| Some docks for the add-on versions of these radios can provide USB interfaces with lots of data available -- what's playing on all channels, what's playing on the currently selected channel, etc. It's likely that some of the built-in versions would do the same. This would be a really good candidate for integration. |

| RadioShark doesn't support RDS, so you don't get artist, song or station ID. That reduces the value of integrating it, in my eyes. Reception is not great, either. Serviceable if you're in an area where the signal is strong, but otherwise it's static-y. If they had RDS support, then a database of stations indexed on their call letters that includes the music type and even a TiVO-like listing of the programming would be really useful. You indicate the kind of stations you do/do not want to hear, and automatically skip the station types you don't want. |

I find it depressing how people are willing to dismiss and call an application absolute crap but are completely unwilling to try and take it in a direction they'd like. Why? Beacuse we ask $25 for an absolutely customisable application launcher that wants to be much more? You think that asking for $25 for our work and dedication is too much? Would you rather there be nothing else and that no one set a standard? At least we're trying. Are you?? I'll let you in on something else: we've got a "development" version of i3 running with full GPS support, with full movie support, with full iTunes playlist support but guess what? It'd cost us thousands of $ to even think of giving it away. You know why? Cause you pay for Quicktime p... Click here to read more ... |

Just in case this project is NOT dead... These guys have some pretty good ideas: http://www.symphonyos.com/screenshots.html - Using the screen corners as shortcuts - Introducing fixed areas on the desktop etc. |

| Griffin said they would release a (beta?) version of their software within the next days, providing AppleScript support! YES! |
