me too...
i have some background in UI design from my work (product manager for PVRs - hard disk recorders).
however, i am not entirely comitted to the "mac in a car" idea, i "just" need a "girlfriend-friendly" (sorry...) home solution to easily access my iTunes collection. touch screen / powermate is great, but it's hard to control the tiny buttons etc.
